The Clermont Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) met on January 13, 2026. The board approved hiring DPZ to update the Downtown Master Plan and the CRA Redevelopment Plan, and to reimburse the General Fund for the city's Comprehensive Plan, with a not-to-exceed amount of $350,000. The CRA will allocate up to $150,000 for the Downtown Master Plan and CRA Redevelopment Plan updates, with any remaining funds from the $350,000 cap to be used for the General Fund reimbursement. A CRA workshop is scheduled for April 21, 2026, to discuss protecting and preserving historic integrity in conjunction with the Master Downtown Plan or CRA Redevelopment Plan. Quarterly CRA meetings will be held in calendar year 2026, generally at 2 PM on the second Tuesday of each month, to include written reports and short presentations from organizations and grant recipients. Clermont Main Street reported progress on a mature trees downtown project, with pricing and a planting plan secured and submitted for review.
