The City of Cocoa Diamond Square Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) held a regular meeting on April 20, 2026. Key action items included approving a resolution to amend the FY26 budget (BAF# 26-051-T) to transfer $331 from training to cover insurance overages due to market-wide rate increases. The agency also considered approving an increase for the CRA Paint Grant from $1,000 to $1,500 and the CRA Beautification Grant from $500 to $750, both effective in FY27. A forgivable loan of $12,500 was considered for Wall's Bangin' BBQ under the Upstart Cocoa program, to cover inventory, equipment upgrades, marketing, rent, and fees/permits. A presentation was given on a 55-and-older housing community project. The next meeting is scheduled for May 18, 2026.
