The City Commission approved an ordinance changing the zoning for approximately 1.90 acres at 600 North Woodland Boulevard from E-1 (Educational) to DeLand Atrium PD (Planned Development). The commission also approved an ordinance abandoning approximately 0.89 acres of right-of-way of Bennett Drive along lots 25-31 of the DeLand Business and Industrial Park plat. Additionally, an easement for Bennett Drive was accepted. Several consent agenda items were approved, including FDOT Public Transportation Grant Awards for Airport Taxiway E Design and Airport South-Central Apron Construction, approval of professional engineering services for Taxiway E Realignment Design and Bidding, a utility service agreement for Country Club Pointe Redevelopment, and temporary authorization for the St. Johns River Water Management District to install water monitoring equipment adjacent to Lake Gertie.
