The home will be sold to an income-eligible household. Construction is expected to be completed by December 31, 2026. This replaces a previous agreement with 2W Construction Corp. The City Commission will consider approving the purchase of a Crash Attenuator Truck from Rush Truck Center for $151,239.00. This truck is intended to replace a 1998 model and will be used by Stormwater Operations to protect work zones, slow-moving vehicles, and haul traffic control equipment. Funding is available in the Stormwater Utility Fund. Kimley-Horn was ranked as the most qualified firm following the RFQ2026-004 selection process. The services will include developing plans, specifications, and cost estimates for the project. [Lakeside Park location; case Contract #20240133, Project #FD2527] The City Commission will consider approving architectural and engineering services with The Lunz Group for the Lakeside Fire Station #5 Project for $299,781. The project will adapt a previously developed fire station prototype design to the specific site at Lakeside Park, including site coordination, permitting, and construction phase services. The Lunz Group was the architect of record for the prototype. [West Oak Street; case Contract #20250014, LAP Agreement G2962] The City Commission will consider approving Supplemental Agreement No. 2 to the Local Agency Program (LAP) Agreement G2962 with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for the West Oak Street Intersection Improvements Project. This agreement increases the project funding by $90,836.00 in federal funds at no cost to the City, supporting continued eligibility for reimbursement of expenses. The City Commission will consider approving the SHIP Annual Report and Local Incentives Certification for the years 2019-2020, 2020-2021, 2021-2022, and 2022-2023. This certification is required to maintain eligibility for State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) funding and verifies the implementation of approved affordable housing incentives. [Neptune Road Bridge over Neptune Canal; case Contract #20260067] The City Commission will consider approving a Construction Services Authorization (CSA) with Cathcart Construction Company, Florida, LLC, for repairs to the Neptune Road Bridge over Neptune Canal. The grant will provide $5,000 to a selected intern ($4,000 from FAC, $1,000 from Airport funds) to work up to 8 weeks in 2026 on a research project benefiting the Airport. The City's match will be funded from the professional services account. [case RFP2026001] The City Commission will review and decide whether to reverse or uphold the City Manager's decision to cancel RFP2026001 for School Speed Detection Camera vendors. The solicitation was awarded to Blue Line Solutions (BLS) on March 11, 2026, but canceled on March 17, 2026, due to issues with protest procedures and deviation from RFP outlined processes. BLS filed a protest, which was denied. The City is also awaiting litigation outcomes regarding the constitutionality of Florida Statutes Section 316.0083, which could impact the enforceability of school zone speed cameras. [1985 S. John Young Parkway; case CU-25-0004] The City Commission will discuss an appeal of the Development Review Committee (DRC) decision to renew a Conditional Use Special Event Permit (CU-25-0004) for food trucks at 1985 S. John Young Parkway. The permit allows up to six food trucks and was last renewed on April 7, 2026, for 90 days, expiring July 10, 2026. A written appeal of this renewal was received on April 16, 2026. The permit is scheduled for another 90-day renewal consideration on July 7, 2026.
