The Airport Advisory Board of the City of Ocala met to discuss upcoming airport projects and operations. Several potential opportunities for local contractors, trades, suppliers, and service providers were reviewed. These include the construction of a new 10,000 square foot aircraft hangar, grading work for MALSR/RPZ RY36, and the design of a Taxiway A Holding Bay. Other planned projects involve a new 100-foot driveway, rehabilitation of the T-Hangar Campus, infrastructure improvements on A12, and the installation of concrete pads for aircraft parking. Additionally, plans for TWY-C Phase I taxiway construction and FDOT pond relocation were discussed.
