The City Council of Ocala is reviewing a proposal for a new civic project. This project is planned for the area near the intersection of SE 17th Street and SE 36th Avenue. The proposed development includes 150 dwelling units and covers 10 acres. This project could create opportunities for local contractors, including land clearing and grading crews, civil engineers, utility contractors, concrete and paving companies, framers, roofers, electricians, plumbers, and HVAC installers.
