The Community Redevelopment Area Agency Board of the City of Ocala met to discuss upcoming projects and grant programs. Several opportunities for local contractors, trades, suppliers, and service providers were reviewed. These include a proposed mixed-use development at Southwest 10th Avenue and Southwest 14th Street, and another mixed-use project at 100 SW 10th Street. Approved grants for residential property improvements are planned for 1138 NE Ninth Street, 414 NE Seventh Terrace, 428 NE Seventh Terrace, and 420 NE Seventh Terrace. A commercial property improvement grant is also approved for 1811 NE Jacksonville Rd and proposed for 3711 SW College Road.
