The Ocala Planning & Zoning Commission met to review several development proposals. Approved projects include off-street parking at 2236 NW 8th Street and near Parcel 22497-000-00, and an amendment for a 9.31-acre property at 3610 NW 1st Loop. A 61.4-acre Planned Development at 3661 SW 60th Avenue and 5800 SW 31st Street is also under consideration, as is a rezoning for 1.25 acres in the 200 block of SW 27th Avenue. Future opportunities may arise from these and other proposed mixed-use developments across the city.
