The City of Ocala Planning & Zoning Commission met to discuss upcoming development proposals. Several projects are under review, including mixed-use developments near SE 103rd Street and SE 58th Avenue, SE 103rd Street and SE 42nd Avenue, and SE 36th Avenue and SE 32nd Street, as well as a commercial development near SW 38th Avenue and SW 36th Avenue. The commission also approved a land use change and annexation for approximately 82.40 acres at 5575 SW 52nd Street, which could lead to future work for various contractors and suppliers. Additionally, two projects at 123 Main Street, one for 50 single-family homes and another for a 5,000 square foot commercial building, have been approved.
