The Special Magistrate of the City of Ocala met to review several new development proposals. Several projects are planned for commercial use, including developments near Southeast 36th Avenue and Southeast 17th Street, and at 1200 SW 10th Street. Other proposals include new housing, such as single-family homes on 10 acres and apartment complexes with up to 200 units on 10 acres. These planned developments could create opportunities for site preparation, concrete and paving, framing, roofing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, utility installation, civil engineering, surveying, and building material suppliers.
