The Historic Preservation Board (HPB) of the City of Titusville held a regular meeting on May 4, 2026. The agenda included approval of minutes from April 6, 2026, old business regarding the Planning Annual HPB Workshop, and new business. The meeting also included reports from City Staff, City Attorney, Chairman, and Members. The board discussed the Mid-Century Modern Structures & Historic Preservation Board Annual Workshop. The workshop is scheduled for May 28, 2026, at the Harry T. Moore Social Services Center, featuring Morris "Marty" Hylton III as a guest speaker on Mid-Century Modern architecture. The workshop will also include recognition for properties without formal designation as Mid-Century Modern structures. Several individuals and entities were recognized with a 2026 Historic Preservation Board Award for their efforts in preserving and maintaining notable historical buildings. These included 13 Associates, LLC at 3880 S. Washington Avenue; Prosper Titusville, LLC at 2825 S. Washington Avenue; John Davis at 1760 Diane Drive; and Michael Turcotte at 3502 Nelson Place.
