The Parks & Recreation Advisory Board meeting on May 20, 2026, addressed several items. The approval of April 15, 2026, minutes and the Edit to Open Space Business Permit were tabled until the June meeting due to a lack of quorum. Kraft Azalea Park Management was also tabled until the June meeting due to a lack of quorum. Staff provided updates on projects including Lake Baldwin parking lot improvements, Howell Branch improvements, and the MLK parking lot and croquet court. Scott Redmon spoke during public comments regarding the Howell Creek and Howell Branch trail, suggesting it be designated as a park and requesting a meeting to discuss grant opportunities. The meeting was adjourned at 6:17 pm.
