The City Commission of Coral Gables met to discuss upcoming city business. The commission is reviewing a proposal for a new mixed-use development near Sunset Drive and Red Road, which could create future opportunities for land clearing, grading, utility work, concrete, paving, framing, roofing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and landscaping. The city is also presenting its budget estimate for Fiscal Year 2026-2027 and reviewing a proposed operating millage rate for the same period.
