The Development Review Committee of the City of Coral Gables met to review several upcoming projects. Opportunities may arise from a mixed-use development at Sunset Drive and Red Road. The University of Miami is planning a new operations and storage building at 5709 Ponce De Leon Blvd, potentially involving civil engineers, surveyors, utility contractors, concrete and paving companies, framers, roofers, electricians, plumbers, and HVAC installers. Giralda Preschool at 320 Giralda Avenue is seeking to add a kindergarten use, which could lead to work for interior renovation contractors, finish carpenters, painters, flooring installers, and electrical or plumbing system upgrades.
