The Board of County Commissioners in Marion County met to discuss upcoming projects and reviews. Several potential opportunities for local contractors, trades, suppliers, and service providers were identified. These include a commercial development near SE 110th Street and SE 52nd Avenue, a 10-acre commercial project at SE 102nd Avenue and SE 104th Avenue, and a new 10-acre commercial development at SE 145th Street and SE 100th Avenue. Additionally, a new 30,000 square foot health department building is planned for 1515 NW 10th Street in Ocala, and a new civic building is proposed for SE 100th Street and SE 110th Avenue.
