The Land Development Regulation Commission met to review several agenda items. Two new development proposals were discussed: one for approximately 10.5 acres of commercial use at County Road 466 and County Road 44, and another for 10 acres of mixed-use development at SW 10th Street and SW 30th Avenue. These projects could offer work for land clearing, grading, civil engineering, surveying, utility contracting, concrete, paving, framing, roofing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, landscaping, and building material supply businesses. The commission also reviewed proposed changes to tree protection rules in the Land Development Code, which could affect land clearing and landscaping services.
