The Tourist Development Council met to review several upcoming projects and event funding. Several new developments are under review in Marion County. Potential opportunities exist for land clearing and grading crews, civil engineers, utility contractors, concrete and paving companies, framers, roofers, electricians, plumbers, HVAC installers, landscapers, and building material suppliers for projects near SE 103rd Street and SE 36th Avenue, near the intersection of County Road 484 and Interstate 75, near SE 103rd Street and SE 105th Street, and near US Highway 27 and County Road 326. Funding allocations for future events may also create work for event planners, caterers, and hospitality services.
