Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners approved a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with Ardurra Group, Inc. for general engineering and inspection services at Miami International Airport. This is part of a pool of consultants to support the Miami-Dade Aviation Department's Capital Improvement Program. The contract has a maximum amount of $41,353,125.00 for a five-year term with a five-year renewal option. Services include routine construction inspection, threshold inspection, and commissioning of building systems. The project is part of MIA's modernization plan, which has been expanded to $12 billion. Ardurra Group, Inc. was the second-highest ranked firm selected after a competitive process involving sixteen proposals. The contract is funded through future financing and reserve maintenance funds.
