Miami-Dade County is approving a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with Ardurra Group, Inc. to provide general engineering and inspection services for the Miami-Dade Aviation Department at Miami International Airport. This is part of a pool of consultants for capital improvement projects. The contract has a maximum amount of $41,353,125.00 for a five-year term with a five-year renewal option. Services include routine construction inspection, threshold inspection, and commissioning of building systems. The Aviation Department determined it lacks the in-house capabilities for these specialized services. Ardurra was the second-highest ranked firm selected after a competitive process involving sixteen proposals. The project is funded through future financing and a reserve maintenance fund.
