PSA AWARD TO NIFAH AND PARTNERS

Miami-Dade County is approving a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with Nifah & Partners Consulting Engineers, Inc. to provide general engineering and inspection services for the Miami-Dade Aviation Department at Miami International Airport. This is part of a pool of consultants for capital improvement projects. The contract has a maximum amount of $41,353,125.00 for a term of five years with one five-year renewal option. Services include routine construction inspection, threshold inspection, and commissioning of building systems. The project is part of the Miami International Airport's Modernization in Action (M.I.A.) Plan, which has been expanded to $12 billion. Nifah & Partners Consulting Engineers, Inc. was the third-ranked firm selected for negotiation. The contract is subject to sea level rise considerations and sustainable building practices.
