Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is approving the award of a competitive revenue-generating contract, Contract No. EVN0028376, for the Concourse K Concession Program at Miami International Airport to OTG MIA Venture, LLC. The contract is for the development and management of 17 retail and food and beverage concession spaces, totaling approximately 19,073 square feet. The projected revenue to Miami-Dade Aviation Department is $62,200,000.00 over an initial 11-year term, with one, one-year option to renew. The contract includes financing, design, leasing, tenant coordination, construction, and property management of the concession locations. The Concessionaire is expected to develop these spaces, with an anticipated opening by 2030. The award was made after a competitive RFP process where three other proposals were deemed non-responsive.
