Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is approving a contract award to Lemartec-NV2A JV, LLC for the Miami International Airport (MIA) Concourse F to H Interconnector project. The project involves construction services to implement post-security interconnectivity between multiple concourses at MIA. The contract amount is $50,930,968.00, with a contract term of 820 consecutive calendar days. The project includes construction of a new four-story structure connecting Concourse G to Concourse H, tenant relocations for Concourse F to H construction, and reconfiguration of existing office spaces into a secure/sterile corridor connecting Concourse F to H and Concourse G to H. The Aviation and Seaport Committee forwarded the item to the BCC with a favorable recommendation. The lowest responsive and responsible base bid from Lemartec-NV2A was $35,999,471.00, which was 35 percent below the engineer's estimate. Due diligence confirmed Lemartec-NV2A's capability to deliver the project. The project will comply with sustainable building practices and consider sea level rise projections.
