Miami-Dade Aviation Department (MDAD) is awarding a contract for an American Sports Bar at Miami International Airport (MIA). The contract, number EVN0000341, is awarded to SSP America MIA, LLC for a 10-year term with projected revenues of $12,000,000.00. The concession will be located on the third floor of the Concourse E Satellite Building and will feature a U.S. stadium-inspired concept. The contract requires the vendor to pay MDAD the greater of 18% of gross alcohol sales, 14% of other gross sales, or the prevailing Class VI Terminal rental rate. The Living Wage Ordinance applies. Two other proposals were deemed non-responsive due to failure to submit pricing.
