Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is approving the award of a competitive revenue-generating contract, Contract No. EVN0000341, for an American Sports Bar at Miami International Airport (MIA) to SSP America MIA, LLC. The contract is for a 10-year term with projected revenues of $12,000,000.00 for the Miami-Dade Aviation Department. The sports bar will be located on the third floor of the Concourse E Satellite Building at MIA and will offer a broad menu with stadium-inspired items. The Aviation and Seaport Committee forwarded this item to the BCC with a favorable recommendation on 7/13/2026. The County Attorney's Office deemed two other proposals non-responsive due to failure to submit pricing. The contract requires the vendor to pay the County the greater of a percentage of gross revenues (18% for alcohol, 14% for other sales) or the prevailing Class VI Terminal rental rate. The Living Wage Ordinance applies.
