CARPAU SPECIAL TAXING DISTRICT

Miami-Dade County adopted an ordinance creating the CARPAU Multipurpose Maintenance and Street Lighting Special Taxing District. The district will provide maintenance for landscaped areas, common areas, wetlands, and lakes, as well as street lighting services. The initial estimated cost for multipurpose maintenance is $17,460.00 ($0.0781 per assessable square foot), and for street lighting is $14,262.16 for the first year, decreasing to $685.11 for the second year ($3.1029 per assessable front foot). The developer, CFF Development Group, LLC, is the sole property owner. Street lighting installation and operation will be under an agreement with Homestead Energy Services. Maintenance services will be provided by the County if the developer or any association/CDD fails to do so. The district is located within Commission District 8.
