Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted an ordinance creating the Olga Lidia Subdivision Multipurpose Maintenance and Street Lighting Special Taxing District. The district is generally bounded by SW 245 Terrace to the north, SW 128 Avenue to the east, Theoretical SW 246 Street to the south, and SW 129 Avenue to the west. The district will provide for the maintenance of landscaped swales, medians, common areas, entrance features, wetlands, lakes, and the exterior of fencing/walls, as well as street lighting services. The estimated cost for multipurpose maintenance in the second year is $19,054.51, and for street lighting services in the second year is $15,810.32. The developer, Sunshine Views 246, LLC, is responsible for initial costs. Street lighting services are expected to commence in November 2028, with Florida Power and Light maintaining the system. Multipurpose maintenance services will begin after the developer and any association or CDD cease providing them. The creation of this district was requested by 100% of the property owners.
