Miami-Dade County adopted an ordinance creating the Wildwood Groves Multipurpose Maintenance and Street Lighting Special Taxing District. The district is generally bounded by SW 272 Street (North), Theoretical SW 158 Passage (East), SW 276 Street (South), and SW 162 Avenue (West). The project includes maintenance of landscaped areas, common areas, entrance features, wetlands, lakes, fencing, walls, and private roads if associations fail to do so. It also includes the installation and maintenance of streetlights. The estimated initial cost for multipurpose maintenance is $149,883.98, and for street lighting is $52,590.16 for the first year. The developer, TPG AG EHC III (LEN) MULTI STATE 4, LLC, petitioned for the district, which is expected to include approximately 115 single-family homes. Street lighting services are anticipated to begin in November 2028, with maintenance services commencing after developer/association cessation. The ordinance was adopted by the Board of County Commissioners on May 19, 2026.
