APPROVAL OF ADDITIONAL SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENTS TO ILA
Board of County Commissioners · 2026-06-02 · resolution
Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-473-26, approving multiple interlocal agreements and supplemental agreements related to the Supervisor of Elections. These agreements cover financial disclosures, outside employment systems, election-related functions, and employee crosswalk provisions. The Supervisor of Elections will continue temporary access to existing financial disclosure and outside employment systems while Miami-Dade County and the Commission on Ethics and Public Trust migrate these functions to the County's INFORMS platform. The agreements also expand the Supervisor's responsibilities for election-related functions and amend the Interlocal Transition Agreement to include automatic annual renewal, facilitate the Supervisor's transition off the INFORMS system, and authorize the relocation of the Supervisor's branch office within the Stephen P. Clark Center. The relocation involves compensation to the Department of Transportation and Public Works for the use of federally regulated space at a rate of $1,000 per month, retroactive to July 1, 2025. The employee crosswalk provisions are extended for an additional year. Vice Chairwoman Milian Orbis inquired about similar crosswalk issues with other constitutional offices and the components of the item, receiving clarification from Mr. LaFarga regarding the transition of functions and systems.
