CODESIGNATION - WILFREDO ‘WILLY’ GORT WAY

Miami-Dade County Commissioners considered the codesignation of a portion of Northwest 14th Avenue between Northwest 28th Street and Northwest 26th Street as "Wilfredo ‘Willy’ Gort Way". The City of Miami had previously passed a resolution for this codesignation. The County Commission deferred the matter to no date certain at the request of Commissioner Hardemon. The purpose is to honor Wilfredo Gort for his extensive public service and civic engagement in Miami-Dade County. The County is expected to install signage for this codesignation.
