Miami-Dade County Commission deferred a resolution to approve the City of Miami's codesignation of Northwest 14th Avenue between Northwest 28th Street and Northwest 26th Street as "Wilfredo ‘Willy’ Gort Way". The deferral was requested by Commissioner Hardemon to no date certain. The City of Miami previously passed a resolution (R-26-0168) on April 9, 2026, for this codesignation. The county is being asked to install signage for this codesignation. The matter is in County Commission District 3.
