Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-480-26, ratifying a contract with Hitachi Rail STS USA for $6,729,260.00 for the purchase and overhaul of 10 rail vehicle trucks for the Department of Transportation and Public Works. The trucks are needed to replace components damaged in accidents and derailments and to complete six-year overhauls to maintain fleet reliability.
