Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution approving a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with Terracon Consultants, Inc. for construction materials testing services. This contract is part of a pool of architectural and engineering consultants supporting the Miami-Dade Aviation Department's capital improvement projects at Miami International Airport. The contract has a maximum combined amount of $41,353,125.00 for a five-year term with a five-year renewal option. The services include construction material testing, asphalt and concrete testing, geotechnical exploration, soil and foundation testing, and roof testing. The work will be assigned via service orders on a rotational basis among pool members. No minimum work is guaranteed to any single firm. The project is part of the airport's $12 billion modernization plan.
