Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution approving a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with NV5, Inc. as part of a pool of consultants to provide construction materials testing services for the Miami-Dade Aviation Department at Miami International Airport. The contract, numbered E24AV03C, has a maximum combined amount of $41,353,125.00 for a term of five years with one five-year renewal option. This is one of five similar agreements being awarded to different firms for these services. The services will support various capital improvement projects at the airport, including terminal, concourse, apron, utilities, and parking structure construction/remodeling. Work will be assigned on a rotational basis among the awarded firms. The project is part of the Miami International Airport's Modernization in Action (M.I.A.) Plan, which has been expanded to $12 billion.
