Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution authorizing a non-competitive designated purchase for Supplemental Agreement No. 10 under Contract No. BW7961-3/11 with Trapeze Software Group, Inc. This agreement extends the contract for Trapeze software implementation, technical support, and maintenance for the Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) by an additional three years. The expenditure authority is increased by $3,062,860, bringing the total modified contract value to $20,889,064. This extension is necessary to ensure operational continuity for critical transit scheduling and paratransit operations while DTPW implements new, competitively procured replacement platforms. The agreement allows for the discontinuation of individual software modules if replacement systems are implemented sooner than the contract's expiration. The Board approved this by a two-thirds vote.
