Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-481-26, authorizing a non-competitive designated purchase for Supplemental Agreement No. 10 under Contract No. BW7961-3/11 with Trapeze Software Group, Inc. This agreement extends the contract for Trapeze software implementation, technical support, and maintenance for the Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) by three years. It also authorizes an additional expenditure of $3,062,860, bringing the total modified contract value to $20,889,064. The extension is necessary to ensure operational continuity for critical transit functions, including fixed-route bus and rail scheduling, and paratransit operations, while DTPW implements new, competitively procured replacement platforms. The agreement allows for the discontinuation of individual modules as new systems become operational, preventing additional costs if implementation is completed early. The Board approved this by a two-thirds vote.
