CONVEYANCE TO FDOT TWO EASEMENTS AT MIAMI GARDENS DRIVE

Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution authorizing the conveyance of two perpetual easements to the State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for a roadway improvement project. Parcel 800, approximately 2,414 square feet, is located at the SW corner of SR 860/Miami Gardens Drive and NW 37th Avenue. Parcel 801, approximately 1,061 square feet, is located at the SE corner of SR 860/Miami Gardens Drive and NE 6th Avenue. The easements are for constructing, installing, and maintaining traffic signals, mast arms, control cabinets, pedestrian ramps, and related facilities. The conveyance is for a nominal price of $1.00. FDOT will be solely responsible for all project costs and maintenance. The easements will revert to the County if FDOT ceases using them for transportation purposes. The resolution was adopted on June 2, 2026.
