CONVEYANCE TO FDOT TWO EASEMENTS AT MIAMI GARDENS DRIVE
Board of County Commissioners · 2026-06-02 · resolution
Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution authorizing the conveyance of two perpetual easements (Parcel 800 and Parcel 801) to the State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for a nominal price of $1.00. These easements are for a roadway improvement project along SR 860/Miami Gardens Drive. Parcel 800, approximately 2,414 square feet, is located at the SW corner of the intersection of SR 860/Miami Gardens Drive with NW 37th Avenue and will be used for modifying turning radius, realigning pedestrian crosswalk, installing pedestrian signals, and reconstructing curb ramp and sidewalk. Parcel 801, approximately 1,061 square feet, is located at the SE corner of the intersection of SR 860/Miami Gardens Drive with NE 6th Avenue and will be used for constructing and maintaining a control cabinet, service disconnect, pull boxes, and conduits. FDOT will be solely responsible for all project costs and maintenance. The easements will revert to the County if FDOT ceases using them for transportation purposes. The Board of County Commissioners approved the resolution on June 2, 2026.
