Establishment of the Downtown SoMi Community Development District (CDD) has been proposed. The CDD will be located in the City of South Miami, within Miami-Dade County, and is intended to finance capital improvements and maintenance for a mixed-use development. The project includes retail space, residential units, hotel rooms, office space, a movie theater, parking, and associated infrastructure.
