EMERGENCY PUSH AND CLEAR
Board of County Commissioners · 2026-06-02 · resolution
Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution authorizing a three-year extension for Prequalification Pool No. RTQ-00867, which provides Emergency Push & Clear and Debris Removal Services for multiple county departments. This extension is time-only, with no additional expenditure authority requested. The pool, originally established in 2018 with an initial allocation of $330,000,000, has a cumulative allocation of $330,500,000 and will now expire on November 30, 2029. Services include pushing, clearing, hauling vegetative debris, stump removal, and hazardous tree removal from various county locations during declared emergencies. The pool currently has 12 active vendors, nine with local addresses. Contract awards under the pool exceeding $5,000,000, or $1,500,000 for the Miami-Dade Aviation Department, require Board ratification. Due diligence was performed on vendors, with noted litigation for T.F.R. Enterprises, Inc. and Thomas Maintenance Services, Inc., but no adverse impact on the pool was identified.
