FUEL STATION MAINTENANCE (MOD 5YR)
Board of County Commissioners · 2026-06-02 · resolution
Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-489-26, authorizing an extension of Prequalification Pool No. FB-01793P for Fuel Service Station Maintenance, Repair, and Services. This extension grants an additional five years and increases the expenditure authority by $3,801,964.00, bringing the total modified cumulative pool amount to $10,609,052.00. The pool supports multiple County departments, primarily the People and Internal Operations Department (PIOD) and the Water and Sewer Department (WASD), for routine maintenance, inspection, and emergency mitigation services for fuel service stations and storage tanks. The extension aims to streamline procurement processes, reduce administrative work for vendors and the County, and ensure continued access to qualified vendors for projects such as tank replacements and fuel system upgrades. The pool was initially established by Resolution No. R-643-21 and currently has five prequalified vendors, three with local addresses, including one certified Small Business Enterprise (SBE). The extension is effective until October 31, 2031.
