Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted an ordinance to amend the boundaries of the Ojus Sanitary Sewer Special Benefit Area (OSSSBA) by adding one property. The ordinance also ratifies the non-ad valorem assessment roll, rates, and assessments for the OSSSBA for Fiscal Year 2026-2027. The total assessment for the special benefit, including financing charges, is $21,223,217.00 over 28 years. The newly added parcel will have an annual assessment of $0.5656 per square foot. The OSSSBA serves non-residential and non-institutional parcels with mixed-use, industrial, and residential modified live/work zoning that lack access to the County's sewer system.
