PALMETTO HOMES ADDITIONAL EXTENSION FOR 30 LOTS

Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-560-26, authorizing an extension for Palmetto Homes Urban Development Group, Inc. to construct, complete, and sell or rent affordable housing properties. This resolution grants a three-year extension from the adoption date for construction and obtaining final certificates of occupancy on multiple county-owned properties previously conveyed for the Infill Housing Initiative Program. The developer has returned 12 lots and is returning 3 additional lots, including those at 550 NW 22nd Street, 2185 NW 5th Place, and 2173 NW 5th Place, Miami, FL. Palmetto Homes will also undertake the construction of a Puerto Rican Community Center along with multifamily housing on properties anticipated to be conveyed to them. The County Mayor or designee is authorized to execute amended deeds, enforce deed provisions, and exercise reversionary interests.
