PROFESSIONAL SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH ARQUITECTONICA

Miami-Dade County approved an amendment to a professional services agreement with Arquitectonica International, Inc. for the Coconut Grove Playhouse project. The amendment increases the contract amount by $4,248,887.00, bringing the total to $6,647,567.00. This includes additional compensation for design, construction documents, and administration services for a new parking garage building. The contract term is extended from six years to a total of 14 years, including two additional one-year options, due to regulatory delays and prolonged litigation. Funding will come from Convention Development Tax Bonds and parking revenues.
