RESOLUTION DECLARING SURPLUS EQUIPMENT

Miami-Dade County declared certain firefighting equipment surplus and authorized its donation to Alcada Municipal, Utica, Cundinamarca, Colombia. The equipment, including 24 jackets, 24 pants, 24 hoods, 24 sets of gloves, 24 pairs of boots, 24 helmets, and 24 ear flaps, was found to be obsolete and unusable by any County department, municipality within Miami-Dade County, or eligible community-based organization. The waiver of standard surplus property disposition procedures was approved by a two-thirds vote. The recipient is responsible for all transfer costs and must take possession within 90 days of the resolution's effective date.
