Miami-Dade County Commission adopted a resolution approving the issuance of revenue notes not to exceed $40,000,000.00 by the Public Finance Authority on behalf of Sky Harbour Opa Locka Airport, LLC. These funds will finance capital projects including the development of a general aviation and aircraft storage facility at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport. The project involves 15 hangars totaling approximately 271,000 square feet, plus additional office space and hangars for maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) 'built to suit' facilities. The approval is for purposes of federal tax code compliance and Wisconsin statutes.
