Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted an ordinance creating the Palm Bay South Multipurpose Maintenance Special Taxing District. This district is established to maintain landscaped swales, medians, common areas, entrance features, wetlands, lakes, and the exterior of fencing or walls within its boundaries, should any association or community development district fail to provide these services. Services will commence upon such failure and adoption of a preliminary assessment roll. The estimated cost for the first year is $51,606.50 ($1.8891 per assessable square foot), and $37,853.11 ($1.3856 per assessable square foot) for the second year. The district is located within Commission District 9.
