Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution declaring county-owned property as surplus and authorizing its conveyance to CIPRES RE, LLC for $10.00. The property will be developed with 14 units of affordable housing and approximately 4,100 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. CIPRES RE, LLC, an affiliate of Rilea Group, Inc., will develop the housing for very low-, low-, or moderate-income households, with specific unit restrictions based on Area Median Income (AMI). The developer will also contribute $800,000 to an endowed scholarship fund for students in Commission District 3. The conveyance is subject to a reverter and a rental regulatory agreement, with development to be completed within three years of the County Deed recording.
