Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution to declare county-owned property as surplus and authorize its conveyance to CIPRES RE, LLC for $10.00. The property will be developed with 14 units of affordable housing, rented to very low-, low-, or moderate-income households (not exceeding 120% AMI), and will include approximately 4,100 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. The developer will also contribute $800,000 to an endowed scholarship fund for students in Commission District 3. The project must be completed within three years of the County Deed recording, subject to potential extensions approved by the Board. The resolution waived certain notice and procedural requirements.
