AMENDMENT TO LAND EXCHANGE AGREEMENT

Miami-Dade County Commission approved the First Amendment to a Land Exchange Agreement between Miami-Dade County and the District Board of Trustees of Miami-Dade College. The amendment modifies the original agreement concerning the exchange of two parcels of land. The County will convey 48,456 square feet (portion of Folio No. 01-3135-061-0010, located at 1851 NW 9th Avenue, Miami) to the College, and the College will convey 48,102 square feet (portion of Folio No. 01-3135-106-0010, located at 1000 NW 20th Street) to the County for use by the Public Health Trust. Key changes include removing the condition that the Public Health Trust complete environmental remediation and obtain a No Further Action Letter before closing, modifying environmental remediation provisions, adjusting the closing date definition, and establishing post-closing cooperation for information exchange. The original agreement was approved on December 3, 2024, and became effective January 6, 2025. This amendment was introduced on July 17, 2026, and approved on July 21, 2026.
