CEI SERVICES CONTRACT FOR THE UNDERLINE

Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners approved Supplemental Agreement No. 1 for professional services for The Underline Phase 3 – Segments 3 to 9. This agreement increases the maximum contract value for Construction, Engineering, and Inspection (CEI) services provided by Calvin, Giordano & Associates, Inc. to $8,252,721.83 and extends the contract term by 270 calendar days to a total of 1,654 calendar days. The increase is to ensure continuous and adequate construction oversight due to an expanded scope and extended schedule, including enhanced quality assurance, increased inspection for added project elements like Wi-Fi and amenities, and extended oversight due to schedule impacts. The original contract was approved on April 4, 2023. The supplemental agreement was recommended favorably by the Transportation Committee and approved by the Board of County Commissioners.
